The Q-SYS AD-S112sw-BK is a passive, direct-radiating 12-inch surface-mount subwoofer for foreground and background sound systems. Its weather-treated paper-cone woofer uses a 2.5-inch voice coil, while the tuned port extends the rated effective range to 30–135 Hz. The low-impedance design is rated at 8 Ω and 300 W noise power, with maximum output of 115 dB continuous and 121 dB peak; it does not include a 70/100 V transformer. The supplied YMS12 yoke supports surface installation and boundary-plane coupling. M10 fittings permit suspended installation only with the optional M10 Kit-C and installation in accordance with Q-SYS documentation. A sealed input cover and powder-coated aluminum grille contribute to its IP54 dust and splash rating for indoor or outdoor use. The BK variant is black RAL 9011.
