The Attero Tech by Q-SYS Axiom AXPio is a surface-mount audio expansion module for point-to-point analogue audio extension over non-networked CAT-5/6 cabling. Its two balanced line-level Flex I/O channels can be arranged as two inputs, one input plus one output, or two outputs. The unit pairs with up to two Axiom ML1, USB1 or BT1 wallplates and provides RS-232 connectivity for extending control into a networked AV system such as Q-SYS. Each Flex I/O supports analogue signal levels up to +24 dBu. The Axiom 8P8C port carries analogue audio, RS-232 control and 24 V DC power. Local power requirement is +24 VDC at 100 mA, with 2.4 W consumption. The installer-friendly enclosure can sit on an equipment-rack shelf or mount to a flat surface; overall dimensions are 51 × 254 × 127 mm and weight is 0.4 kg.
