Q-SYS NV-32-H (Core Capable) is a software-configurable network video endpoint with two distinct operating modes. In Core Mode it functions as an integrated Q-SYS processor with a local 3 × 2 HDMI switcher, 64 × 32 network audio channels, 32 × 16 streams, eight AEC processors, one VoIP instance and local audio I/O. In Peripheral Mode it operates as a Q-SYS Shift encoder or decoder for network HDMI distribution, supporting Shift video up to 4K60 4:4:4 and Mediacast decoding up to 1080p30 4:2:0.
The hardware provides three HDMI 2.0 inputs and two independently scaled HDMI 2.0 outputs, each supporting formats up to 4K60 4:4:4. HDMI audio supports eight-channel PCM; analog audio uses a 3.5 mm stereo mic/line input and 3.5 mm stereo line output. User-configurable RS-232 and GPIO extend Q-SYS control to third-party devices. LAN A provides Gigabit Q-LAN and IEEE 802.3bt Type 4 PoE; LAN B provides redundant audio/control traffic in Core Mode. A 48 V DC, 1.5 A input is also available.
Core Mode and Peripheral Mode are not simultaneous by default. The separate Core Mode Video Streaming feature license is required to combine Core processing with network video encoding/decoding and requires Q-SYS Designer Software 9.9 or later. Software-based Dante is also separate: none is included, and Core Mode is licensable up to 32 × 32 Dante channels.
The unit is 1RU half-rack width, measuring 220 × 286.6 × 43.6 mm and weighing 1.81 kg. Included hardware supports rack, surface, table or wall mounting.
